Innovative Private Sector Partnerships to Tackle Plastic Pollution: PCX + Philippines Extended Producer Responsibility
Meg Santos
FREE
Background

The Philippines EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) Act requires corporations to recover their plastic footprint in a ‘polluter pays’ format.  PCX, through Private Sector Partnerships, is accelerating the transition to a circular economy and building a future where no plastic ends up in nature. PCX will share how we are helping solve the plastic waste problem by activating an ecosystem of partners who collect, track, monetize, and repurpose plastic, verified through the power of blockchain technology while supporting communities on the ground with programs that improve livelihoods, scale up social impact, and reduce the flow of plastic pollution into nature.

*Only the presentation slides will be available after the webinar, no video recording.
