On January 30, 2024, India's Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) issued a draft Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations for end-of-life vehicles in the Gazette of India. Interested parties shall submit comments on the proposals to MoEFCC until February 29, 2024.
India is gradually expanding the coverage of EPR to more products and sectors.
