China unveils the National Implementation Plan for Piloting Carbon Peaking, according to the notice released by National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on November 6, 2023. According to the notice, the nation is pledged to launch carbon-peaking pilot programs in 100 typical cities and zones to address the bottleneck constraining the nation's green and low-carbon development.
The pilot programs will start with 15 key provincial regions to gradually expand to more cities and zones.
